Sad news from the Zoo

My beloved Cosmo was gently put to rest today by Dr. Cronister at Stony Run.
He became ill on Friday and then had a stroke on Saturday.
Even with vet intervention and my constant support his little body could not heal.
I am so sad and miss him so much, but know that I gave him the greatest gift so that he wouldn't have to suffer.
I know he was in incredible pain. He fought until the end.
I guess I will have another little hamster spirit running around the house now.
