Everyone was soaking up the rays of warm, spring sun today. I tried to catch a few in the act.
Maggie-poo our lab/golden mix is almost 10, but acts like she is 5 most days. (It's an ancient Chinese secret!)
Today was a lazy day in the sun for her. She prefers winter and loves snow, but also likes summer so she can swim in the creek and chase groundhogs.
None of my flowers have come up yet, but I see a few buds. I have also been seeing a few flocks of snow geese flying by. I would love to get pictures of them, but they are always so high in the sky. Honking.
The yard is full of birds. It is so noisy outside. I LOVE IT!
I have spotted a few migrating species that I would love to get pics of, but can mark off in my bird book.
Friday our Pygmy goat made it through another winter and a hard winter it was. He will be 12 on April 2nd. Good Friday. He has arthritis in his right shoulder, but is still sassy. Here he is hanging out in the sun with some of the chickens.
And of course Zinny. What would my day be like if I didn't have her in my face! Honestly, how can you resist?
You can see her undercoat starting to shed at her neck. I like to brush her every morning and put the undercoat in an old bird house where birds can use it for their nests.
