Sand and Blood

I have been watching Spartacus: Sand and Blood now playing on the premium channel STARZ. I am not real sure if I like.

It is filmed a lot like 3oo with Sam Raimi directing.

In a way I am a bit disappointed. 300 being one of my all time favorite movies, not only for the way it was filmed, but for it's storyline. So I feel that the film 300 has been ripped off a bit. No one writes comics like Frank Miller.

Spartacus has been a bit boring, with too much nudity, slow-mo and not enough story. Probably the only reason to watch it is for upcoming star Andy Whitfield.

I am going to continue to watch Spartacus and will give you another update. It is on Starz Friday nights at 10. It is rated MA for strong sexual situations, violence, sensuality and blood.
