Snow and more snow
It was brutal out there this morning. The snow came up over my knees (I am 5'10") and was not as light and fluffy as I thought. It was a huge workout.
The way my barns are set up, I have to walk from one end of the yard to the other to feed everyone. Troy started shoveling paths, but with the wind blowing, they were soon filled with snow. The animals are all fine, just stuck inside today and probably tomorrow....
Even though I wrapped the flight cage with tarps, snow still found a way in. The chickens were reluctant to come out, but some braved the snow. After I kicked around the shavings so they would have to get their toe-sies cold.
Maggie LOVES the snow. She is standing in my path. And that is a picnic table in the background. We have calculated about 22" here and it is still coming down.
Maisey our snow kitty trying to catch up with me in the other pasture where Leland and Calico are snuggled in their barn.
You can see Friday the goat trying to sneak into the feed room and the peacock enclosure is filled with snow even with a tarp. I have them locked inside their part of the barn.
